OHMY GINGER!
Your ginger has to BE one of the BEST we have ever had.
I decided to experiment with the ginger by adding boiled water and soaking it stirring it around and releasing most of the sugar the results where magic.
The finished product was tender still sweet delicious ginger, I’m putting the strained ginger water in my black tea oh so good. I ready to try putting the soaked ginger pieces in the food dehydrator to dry the surface of the ginger. We never use sugar only honey and maple syrup but I’m making an acceptable choice in my black ice tea. I’ve also sent a friend the ginger I hope that she orders some soon.
